Today is September 9, 2009 — 09/09/09 for short!
Many people (numerologists in particular) consider this once-in-a-lifetime symmetrical date to be lucky. Also, check out these queer and interesting mathematical calculations which are all based on “Lucky 9”:
• The sum of the two-digits resulting from nine multiplied by any other single-digit number will equal nine: 9×3=27; 2+7=9.
• If you multiply nine by any two, three, or four-digit number, the sums of those will also break down to nine: 9×62=558; 5+5+8=18; 1+8=9.
• September 9 also happens to be the 252nd day of the year. And if you add each digit, it will also sum up to 9! (2+5+2).
It’s a rainy 09/09/09. Will I get lucky today?
