Hispanidad is more of an egotistical fantasy of a very tiny minority of Filipinos who are suffering from utmost inferiority complex. They think by adopting Hispanidad, they now feel so white and so powerful to look down on others!
Philippines is more Asian than Hispanic. Be realistic! It is located in Asia, it does not even speak Spanish! Hispanidad is a long by gone era. Hispanistas should accept that as a fact! Or else they will life of anger and frustration.Insisting on being Hispanic , the Filipinos would only be the laughing stock of Spain, latinos, and Hispanics themselves.
